Nowadays professionals are accustomed to working from anywhere, anytime. Meeting new people, new prospects, working on project at different time and place. Communication, collaboration and coordination (3C) among stakeholders are conducted asynchronously. Included here is Professional Certification process.
Doing it online enables LSP (Lembaga Sertifikasi Profesi) to extend the reach of services to wider audience anywhere with existing limited number of assessors without having the trouble to establish physical TUK (Tempat Uji Kompetensi) nationwide and spend travel and accommodation expenses.
Currently there are more than 2.000 LSPs registered at BNSP (the national professional certification body - under the president). Some LSPs have already got system (offline and or online) in place but many more are still in manual or semi manual.
