Spartacus hidup sekitar tahun 109 - 71 SM. Ia berasal dari wilayah Thrakia (sekarang bagian dari Bulgaria) dan dikenal sebagai seorang gladiator serta pemimpin pemberontakan budak terbesar dalam sejarah Romawi, yaitu Perang Budak Ketiga (73–71 SM). Bermula dari memimpin pelarian 70 gladiator lainnya hingga berhasil mengumpulkan 90ribu orang yg sebagian besar budak yang melarikan diri. Gugur dalam pertempuran terakhir melawan pasukan Marcus Licinius Crassus; jenazahnya tidak pernah ditemukan. Albert Einstein adalah seorang theoretical physicist tersohor dunia peraih hadiah Nobel Fisika tahun 1921.
